Restylane

These are injections of hyaluronic acid into the second layer of the skin (dermis). The dermis is made up of collagen and hyaluronic acid, and the replacement of hyaluronic acid leads to improvement of deeper wrinkles and creases. This filler will last approximately 6 months. Ideal areas for this filler include the smile lines, the areas around the mouth, small scars, underneath the eyes (tear troughs) and the lines between the eyes.

Juvederm

These are injections of hyaluronic acid into the second layer of the skin (dermis). This filler will last approximately 6-8 months.  Juvederm Ultra is a thinner, less crosslinked filler ideal for smaller lines and wrinkles. Juvederm Ultra Plus is a thicker filler more ideal for deeper lines and volume replacement. Areas for this filler include the smile lines, the areas around the mouth, small scars, underneath the eyes (tear troughs) and the lines between the eyes.

Radiesse

This is a calcium hydroxylapetite filler that is an excellent choice for deeper wrinkles and folds. It works well in the chin, smile lines, and cheeks. This is not a good choice for the area between the eyes or under the eyes.
